Individual Development Plans
After joining a lab, the student will complete in discussion with their Major Professor, an Individual Development Plan (IDP) each year. These IDPs are training tools to help the student assess progress and succeed in the program. Forms for each respective year of graduate study can be found using the links below:
- To be completed shortly after arriving on campus, October of the 1st year of study
- To be completed October of the 2nd year of study
- To be completed October of the 3rd year of study and beyond
The last page of the IDP needs to be signed by both PhD student and Major Professor and submitted to the Graduate Office by the end of October every year. Lack of IDP submission will result in not being allowed to register for the following semester/term.
