Fellowship Opportunity in Tissue Bioengineering

EXTRACELLULAR MATRIX IN HEALTH AND PLACENTAL MATRIX IN TISSUE REGENERATION.

 

This project aims to study the extracellular matrix of the placenta

and other tissues, such as muscle tissue, and recellularization of

decellularized scaffolds with cells of different animal species as a promising biomaterial for tissue bioengineering. 

 

Scholarship Conditions: The work will be developed at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo, Department of Surgery, Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals sector. The scholarship will be awarded for 06 months. For the implementation of the scholarship, the selected will be required to dedicate 40 hours per week (Duration: 06 months).

 

Requirements / Desired Profile •

The opportunity is open to Brazilian and foreign candidates.

  • It is recommended that the candidate has a PhD in Sciences, with an emphasis on cell biology and knowledge in the areas of histology and embryology in the area of veterinary medicine, a good record of publication, knowledge and techniques

of Tissue Bioengineering, international experience during graduate studies and good performance in spoken and written English. Please only send professional CVs with a PhD in order to save your and the recruiter's time.
