Professor Fernandez-Juricic Elected Fellow of the Animal Behavior Society
08-20-2018
Congratulations to Professor Esteban Fernandez-Juricic who has been elected Fellow of the Animal Behavior Society. According to the Society: “Fellows are members who have engaged in research in animal behavior for at least ten years and who in the opinion of the elected officers and current Fellows of the society have made distinguished contributions to the field.”
This is indeed a well-deserved honor and our Department is doubly fortunate to have two Fellows of the Animal Behavior Society in Biological Sciences (Jeff Lucas is our other distinguished Fellow). Clearly, this speaks volumes not only to Esteban’s (and Jeff’s) leadership in animal behavior science but it also reflects on the overall contributions that our Department has made to this and other scientific areas over the years.
