Chang Receives Murphy Award

Please join me in congratulating Professor Henry Chang who was just named a recipient of the 2018 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award in Memory of Charles B. Murphy. The Murphy Award is the University's highest undergraduate teaching honor and will be followed by induction into Purdue's Teaching Academy, which provides leadership for the improvement of undergraduate, graduate and outreach teaching. Since the Award’s inception in 1966, our Department has been honored with 11 past winners, of which 3 (and now 4) of our colleagues are still teaching in our curriculum. I am thrilled that Henry has been singled out as one of the best teachers at Purdue. It is a most well deserved honor.
