Logan Ganzen awarded a Survey Fund from the Purdue Institute for Drug Discovery

Logan Ganzen, a graduate student in Prof. Yuk Fai Leung’s lab, has been awarded a $15,000 Survery Fund from the Purdue Institute for Drug Discovery for their proposal entitled “In Vivo Drug Screening for Retinitis Pigmentosa with Zebrafish”. This fund will allow them to evaluate new compounds that may treat retinitis pigmentosa, a retinal-degenerative disease that severely impairs vision in patients.
