Chubykin lab publishes an article in the Journal of Visualized Experiments

Qiuyu Wu, the graduate student in Chubykin lab, has published a peer-reviewed article “Application of Automated Image-guided Patch Clamp for the Study of Neurons in Brain Slices” in the Journal of Visualized Experiments. In this article Qiuyu has demonstrated a new technology combining automated image-guided patch clamp methodology to detect, target and patch neurons in brain slices and automated local drug application at target locations. This innovation may be used for high-throughput drug screens and studies of neuronal channel properties.
