Gelvin laboratory attends the 37th Crown Gall Conference

Professor Gelvin and laboratory members Dr. Lan-Ying Lee, Rachelle Lapham, and Ashok Govindan attended the 37th Annual Crown Gall Conference at Indiana University, Bloomington, IN on November 4-6, 2016. The following talks and posters were presented:

Stanton B. Gelvin, Soyon Park, Yunjia Shen, Emily Kim, Lan-Ying Lee, Gabriela Tenea, Heiko Oltmanns, Amita Kaundal, and Kirankumar S. Mysore: “Known plant DNA repair and recombination pathways are not important for T-DNA integration”.

Lan-Ying Lee, Rachelle Lapham, Yong Shi, Sanghun Lee, Tesfaye Mengiste, Daisuke Tsugama, and Stanton B. Gelvin: “VIP1 and its family members are not important for Agrobacterium-mediated transformation”.

Rachelle Lapham, Lan-Ying Le, and Stanton Gelvin: “Potential novel role of the Agrobacterium virulence effector protein VirE2 in modulating plant gene expression”. 

Ashok Govindan also presented a poster: Ashokkumar Govindan, Fiona Doohan, Stanton B. Gelvin, and Ewen Mullins: “Understanding the plant response to Ensifer-mediated transformation (EMT): Identifying potential regulators of EMT by Arabidopsis transcriptomic and T-DNA mutant analyses”.
