The Yeunkyung Woo Achieve Excellence Travel Scholarship Fund: created in 2002 by the Biological Sciences Department in memory of Yeunkyung Woo, a talented, energetic and well-loved PhD student. Yeunkyung’s expressed desire was to get the opportunity to present her work at major scientific meetings, and this fund provides travel awards to help our current graduate students do just that. Twice per year the Department issues a call for applications from graduate students who plan to travel to major meetings to present their results, and winners are chosen competitively, as funds allow.
Purdue Graduate Student Government Travel: The PGSG Travel Grant offers funding for Purdue graduate students to present their research at academic conferences.
