Our study is published in the American Journal of Psychiatry

Dr Paschou is a lead author on the largest genomewide association study for Tourette Syndrome published to date. By analyzing a sample of nearly 5,000 patients with Tourette syndrome and 9,500 controls, we found a genetic variant on chromosome 13 associated with a higher risk for the disease. The findings were published in The American Journal of Psychiatry.
