Welcome to the Purdue International Biology Education Research Group (PIBERG)
We are a scholarly group that investigates teaching and learning in biology. Our goal is to bridge the gap between science education research and its application to help students learn about biology as a research endeavor.
In a world defined by increasingly global interconnections, our international collaborations and focus on international issues provide us with unique cultural and social perspectives to examine the challenges of biology education.
PIBERG members are involved in a wide array of projects including:
- Biological Research Methods
- Curricular Innovation
- STEM Teacher Professional Development
