Our research program on using zebrafish to evaluate traditional Chinese medicines for good vision was covered by an article entitled "Chinese Medicinal Plants May Hold Key to New Vision Therapies" published in the Purdue University Center for Drug Discovery News Fall 2013. The article highlights our joint laboratory with the Joint Shantou International Eye Center and collaboration with the Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants. These international programs allow us to pursue exciting drug investigations that may ultimately help eye disease patients around the world.
