Logan Ganzen and Yuk Fai Leung attended the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) in Baltimore, MD from 2017-05-07 to 05-11. On 2016-03-25, Khaled Noui-Mehidi presented his research at the 131st Annual Academy Meeting of the Indiana Academy of Science. Emre Coskun attended the meeting. They were supervised by graduate student Logan Ganzen.
On 2016-04-16 – 17, Prahatha Venkatraman, Logan Ganzen, Paige Cassidy, Khaled Noui-Mehidi and Menna Hassan demonstrated zebrafish research in 2016 Purdue Spring Fest.

Menna Hassan participated in the Lafayette Regional Science & Engineering Fair and won two awards: (1) a bronze medal under the Animal Science category in the Seniors division, and (2) a blue ribbon.
