Kudos to Henry!



Graduate student Henry Legett has been selected as a recipient of the A. Stanley Rand Fellowship through the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI). Henry’s project—“Female selection for synchronized calling in a treefrog (Smilisca sila)”— will be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Rachel Page.

About the fellowship:

“This award has been created in honor of an extraordinary behavioral ecologist and herpetologist Dr. A. Stanley Rand who served as part of STRI’s scientific staff from 1964 to 2005, and who was a mentor to many young scientists throughout his career.”
