Exciting Summer Programs
Undergraduate summer training is available with the Purdue Motility Group for
a wide range of projects. Students have the opportunity to work closely with
our talented faculty in laboratory settings on challenging, important projects
that introduce them to new techniques and the latest instrumentation. While
planning and executing experimental strategies and learning to overcome obstacles,
summer students become part of the project team. Thoughtful mentorship comes
from your faculty supervisor and the lab's grad students and postdocs.
Internships to Chart Your
Future Career Path
Once you benefited from instruction by our top-notch faculty and mastered those
insights in the lab, students are ready to consider an internship at one of
the major companies working directly with the Department of Biological Sciences,
firms like Abbott Laboratories, Sigma, and Merck. There are also sometimes
very special opportunities made possible by our alumni across the nation.
