Fall 2012
- Planning is underway for a new building at the Ross Reserve. The goals of this project are to produce a model residence-sized building that demonstrates the practicality and affordability of self-powered buildings designed to minimize environmental impact both during construction and throughout the life of the building. This building will not only serve as a way to demonstrate ecological construction principles but will provide space for graduate and undergraduate research as well as community outreach. You can read a summary of the EPA funding proposal here.
