Can't log into Blackboard?

If you have tried to log into Blackboard but receive a message, in red letters, telling you your password or username is incorrect, you probably need to reset your Purdue Career Account password using one of the following methods:

  1. If you logged into your computer using your Purdue Career Account username and password, see Changing Your Career Account Password from your Desktop PC or Mac.
  2. If you did NOT log into your computer using your Purdue Career Account username and password, go to www.itap.purdue.edu and click the "Change my password" link.
If you are simultaneously logged into other computers using your Career Account credentials, you will need to log off of those computers and log back in before using those other computers. If you use a Mac and store passwords in your Mac keychain, changing your password is best done using method 1 while logged into the Mac with Career Account username and password.
