Description:
This research study group is designed for students who are interested in collaborating to learn about current research related to cheese-making and growing edible fungi: defining a research topic related to economic uses of fungi. The students will be locating, identifying, and retrieving information resources related to a research question about cheese-making or growing edible fungi, using journals and web resources, evaluating and treating critically the information received, and citing sources. Students in this course will collaborate in using information ethically and legally to write a WIKI about aspects of cheese-making and edible fungi related to Development, Structure, and Function of Organisms (BIOL13100).
